I ran Cal Animage Alpha, the flagship chapter of the international anime club network Cal Animage, from 2020-2021. Working up from a designer, to Publicity Head, to VP, I gave an industry panel at Crunchyroll's first VCRX. In 2021, I was also a part of the UC system-wide CITRIS EDGE in Tech research group, where I taught and conducted a longitudinal study on a class to expand diversity in the tech industry and the UC system's STEM programs.
My work history is varied. I enjoyed my roles within academia and the restaurant, real estate, and medical industries. Today, I am the Regional Marketing Lead for a tea franchise with 13 locations. I have a strong understanding of university department-level operations as a result of my two roles at TDPS Berkeley. I also contributed to multiple roles for a commercial real estate corporation spanning finance, leasing, and property management.
In my personal life, I am passionate about musicianship, gaming, art, cosplay, and expanding diversity in all of those spaces. I have a "virtual singer" version of myself and played cello in Carnegie Hall! Most recently, I am a volunteer for the Aniclover nonprofit and a handful of anime and gaming conventions as an arcade technician.
Here is a list of public and student-run groups I invite you to support for their work in community-building and restorative justice.
